| Project Description: | Looking for an experienced Scheme developer to setup a Scheme development environment based on the 1.4 version of JScheme at http://norvig.com/jscheme.html
Note that this Scheme implementation is certainly old but for various reasons it *is* our preferred target environment and we understand its limitations (number stack and lack of continuations in particular). Our needs are for integration of JScheme 1.4 with SLIB and with some Scheme Object library. Candidates OO libraries include tiny-clos, ScmObj, BOS or any of a variety of Scheme object systems that support class and method definition and (at least) single inheritance; multiple inheritence is not required. Deliverables for the work are a) Scheme source files as required to support the integration and b) document(s) identifying the scheme libraries used (with links to the libraries and library documentation); installation / configuration instructions; examples / tests in Scheme demonstrating correct invocation and functioning of common SLIB operations and demonstrating simple Object library operations (class/method declarations with inheritence; instance creation and method ivocation). Constraints: the selected Object library must be licensed in a manner that is compatible with free commercial use; the SLIB / OO integration is to be demonstrated within an unmodified JScheme 1.4 installation. |
