Following is the summary of available features under different stages of project execution:
  • In Progress - After your bid is chosen as a winning bid and the Buyer makes an escrow payment, the project starts appearing in the "In Progress" section on the "Exchange" tab.

Click on the project name to visit the project detail page. You can use one of the following to communicate with the Buyer:
    • Message Board - Provides an ability to interact with the buyer. Here you can discuss requirements, send status report, share files and seek feedback by asking the buyer to review.

    • IM - The instant messaging (IM) features allows you to communicate with the buyer in real time.

  • Submitted for Review - Once you have submitted a project, the project starts appearing in the "Submitted for Review" section on the "Exchange" tab. You can use message board and IM to provide clarifications on the submission. The comments you provide while submitting a project are visible below the project detail page in the "Project Activity" section. If submission is rejected by the buyer the project goes back in the "In Progress" section; else in the "Closed" section.

The "Project Activity" section in the project detail page displays all the comments related to project submission.

Tips
Send regular status updates
LimeExchange recommends you to regularly send status reports to the buyer. An early feedback on the project progress helps smooth execution of the project. In case you feel you need more clarifications regarding the requirements, it is advisable that you get together with the buyer in an online chat session and discuss.

Make mid-releases
It is advisable that you make mid releases for the project and request review comments from the buyer. Keeping the buyer posted about the project progress through mid releases ensures that the project is delivered to the buyer's expectations and prevents any miscommunication.
