Points
You can earn points in the following ways:
Any user who accumulates 1000 points and 50 best answers becomes an Expert.
Users can also become Category Experts if they have 25 best answers in a particular category.
Your points get consumed in the following ways:
- 1 point for answering a question
- 1 point for every vote on a question
- 1 point for every positive vote on an answer
- 20 points for the best answer
- 2 points for every positive vote (thumbs up) received from an Expert
