Asking a question - Overview
Log In to your LimeExchange account. Visit the
"Community" tab and click the "Ask" link in the Q&A section. The
following page would appear:
Enter your question in the space provided and choose a suitable category for your question. Select the question type as Free or Premium.
When you select Premium question type, the system requires you to enter Credits that you want to assign to your question. If you do not have credits in your account, you can click on the link provided to buy Credits from LimeExchange.
Assign Credits to a premium question. Select the question as Private or Public. At the end of every premium question, an amount is shown in US$. This amount would be given to the answerer whose answer is selected as the Best Answer (subject to 20 per cent fee that LimeExchange charges).
Finally, using the dropdown list, select the number of days for which you want your question to remain open. You can select any duration from 1 to 30 days. The duration of a question cannot be extended later on. However, you can always post the same question again if you want more response to your question.
