Find Projects
To search for projects, enter the search
criteria (eg., specific skill set, budget, keywords, etc.) and select
the relevant category.
You can also use our Advanced Search feature for enhanced search criteria like project type, budget range, bidding end date and Featured projects.
When searching for projects, you can choose the project type - Fixed Price, Hourly or Pay Per Task. Bid on the project of your choice and get paid accordingly.
• Fixed Price project is a complete well-defined scope of work in which you set up milestones for deliverables and get paid as the milestones are met.
• Hourly project is apt for an ongoing work in which you work for defined number of hours and get paid respectively.
• Pay Per Task project is recommended for repetitive type of work in which you complete a task on weekly basis and get paid on the number of tasks completed per week.
The search results are displayed in order of relevance to the search criteria with highlighted keywords. The search results display the following details for each project:
You can use the links appearing at the bottom of individual search results to Bid on Project, Add to Watchlist and Refer Project to your friends.
Receive Bid Invitations
Buyers search for providers and send them invitations to bid on their projects. We recommend that you fully complete your profile describing yourself and your skills in as much details as possible and increase the possibilities of receiving more bid invitations from buyers.
LimeExchange notifies you via email when a buyer invites you to bid on a project.

- Name: Name of the project. Click open to view the
project details.
- Description: Description of the project.
- Posted By: Displays the buyer’s name. You can
visit the buyer’s profile by clicking on the name. For some projects
you need to Log In to view this information as the buyer may have opted
not to disclose this information to non-logged in users.
- Budget: Get project type highlighted as Fixed,
Hourly or Pay Per Task along with the tentative budget of the
buyer.
- Bidding Ends: The date when bidding will end is
displayed.
- No. of Bids: Shows the number of bids already
received for the project.
- Average Bid Amount: Shows an average bid amount that may help you in deciding your bid.

Setup Notifications
- Visit the "My Account --> Notifications" tab.
- Set up notifications to receive project details matching the specified criteria based on your notification preference i.e., Daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.
Tips
Watchlist projects
While searching for projects you can use the feature "Add to Watchlist"
to shortlist projects that interest you at first glance. You can view
your watch listed projects by clicking on "Watchlisted Projects " link
under the "Exchange" tab.
