Edit Project Settings
A Buyer can edit various Project Settings while the project is in the
bidding stage.
To edit Project Settings, please visit the “Settings” tab on your project details page. You can edit the following project settings (only if your project is in the bidding stage):
- Status Reports: You can set the time-interval for receiving status reports from the service provider.
- Bid Notification: You can set the time period for receiving bid notifications.
- Who can view your project: You can allow/disallow accessibility to search engines and non-registered users.
- Who can bid on your project: You can allow/disallow some providers to bid on your project.
- Extend Bidding Duration: A Buyer can extend the bidding period of a project anytime during the bidding stage. The bidding period can be extended as many times as you wish. However, the total bidding duration including all extensions and original bidding period should not exceed 60 days. If a buyer has already selected the maximum bidding duration of 60 days at the time of posting a project, then the bidding extension option will not be available.
- Tentative Completion Date: You can change the tentative date for completion of your project.
