| Project Description: | Graphic Designer
We are searching for a graphic designer as part of a web re-design project for a fashion company. The web development and web design team has already been selected. We are searching for an ambitious and innovative graphic artist/firm who is familiar and has experience creating “realistic color code swatches” from different fabrics (ie. Wool, tweed, silk, satin, Grosgrain etc). Currently each product is showcased in one color. With over 139 colors, the goal is to create a realistic/photo image of the fabric in the colors provided. Image switch versus flash is preferred. There will be three phases to this project: 1st Phase: (February 6th – February 9th) 1. Describe your “needs” in order to create a “Realistic Color Code Swatch” from fabrics 2. Submit your sample work including past/current experience creating realistic/photo image swatches from fabric material described above. 2nd Phase: (February 11 – February 14) 1. Current Swatch card and fabric will be provided 2. Graphic Designer(s) describe their method/best practice for creating the swatch card based upon client needs 3rd Phase: (February 16- February 18) 1. Best suggestions move to final round 2. Recommendations requested 4th Phase (February 25) 1. Graphic Designer is chosen. Budget: Negotiated based upon work required. |
