How can I edit my profile?
After signing in with your LimeExchange Username and Password, you should go to Profile Tab. In the profile section, you have “Edit/Add” buttons for all the editable data.
Can I upload an image for Profile display?
Yes, it involves a very simple process. You can click on the 'Upload Profile Image' link in your profile section and browse the image that you want to upload. The uploaded image will immediately appear on your profile.
What is the maximum size of the Profile image I can upload?
Presently, the maximum size supported by LimeExchange is 10MB.
What kind of Videos can I upload in my Profile?
As of now, LimeExchange allows you to upload only Youtube videos. Once you add the YouTube URL of your video, it goes into verification process. Your profile video will be visible only after it has been approved by LimeExchange. In case of any abusive content, LimeExchange may reject your video.
Can I upload my Team Member Photos?
Yes, if you are a business user, LimeExchange allows you to upload photos of your Team Members.
What kind of files can I upload in my Portfolio?
You can upload any non executable files including Images, Audio, Video, doc, xls and pdf files in your portfolio. The maximum size limit is 10MB.
Can I change my User or Company name?
Yes, LimeExchange allows you to edit your User Name or Company Name. On your profile page, there is an Edit button near your name for this purpose.
Can I Upload my Resume?
Yes, LimeExchange recommends all individual users to upload their text resume in the Resume Tab.
When will I see Company Tab in my profile page and when will I see Resume Tab?
LimeExchange supports two types of user profile - Individual profile and Business profile. Individual users will see “Resume” tab in their profile while Business users will see “Company” tab in their profile.
Can I edit my rating in the Feedback section?
No, you cannot edit your rating.
Can I edit my Recommendations?
No, you cannot edit Recommendations you have received, but you can Remove a Recommendation if you do not want it to be viewed by other users.
What are Profile Views?
Profile Views shown on your Home page reveal who has recently visited your profile. It also shows how many times your profile has been visited on the last day, in the last week, and the total number of views.
What is Profile Completeness and what is its benefit?
Profile Completeness is displayed on your Home page. It shows how much percentage of your profile is complete. It also lists the Recommended Actions to achieve 100% profile completeness. It is advisable that you maintain your profile completeness at 100%. It increases the possibility of getting a project and ensures that the buyer gets complete information about you or your organization by viewing your profile.
Credit Card Verification
Is credit card verification necessary for every user?
No, only those users who wish to make payments using their credit cards are required to get their credit cards verified from LimeExchange.
How much does it cost to get a credit card verified?
Credit card verification is done free of cost. The two amounts charged on your credit card for verification purposes are fully refundable. The refund is made immediately after verification or within 10 days of the two transactions initiated by LimeExchange, whichever is earlier.
Do I get refund if my credit card verification fails?
LimeExchange refunds the money whether your credit card is verified or not.
How does credit card verification help?
Credit card verification helps in minimizing credit card frauds. It also helps in maintaining and promoting trust within the LimeExchange community.
Shall I again go through credit card verification to use a new credit card?
Yes. For every new, additional or replacement card, you are required to go through verification process. All existing users who have used their credit cards in the past without any verification now need to get their credit cards verified before using them again.
Does LimeExchange keep users’ credit card numbers?
We do not keep credit card number of any user except for the last four digits.
How much time it takes to get my credit card verified?
Credit card verification is a simple process and it takes about 4-5 days.
I entered exactly the same amounts on LimeExchange as they appeared on my credit card statements. Still, my credit card verification was not accepted. Why?
Sometimes, the credit card statements do not show the exact amounts as credit card providers tend to round-off the transaction amounts. In such cases, you need to contact your credit card provider to know the actual amounts of transactions and re-submit those amounts on LimeExchange system. Further, you should enter the same amounts as shown on your credit card statement even if those amounts are in currency other than USD.
What happens to the amounts that you charge during credit card verification?
LimeExchange refunds the amounts immediately after verification or within 10 days of the transactions, whichever is earlier.
What would happen if I enter wrong amounts by mistake?
We provide three opportunities to you to submit the right amounts and get your credit card verified. If you enter an incorrect verification code for three times, your credit card account will be deleted and you will have to start the verification process from the beginning.
How safe is my credit card information on LimeExchange?
It is absolutely safe to transact on LimeExchange using a credit card. We do not keep your credit card number except for the last four digits.
Is there any time limit to get my credit card verified?
Yes, you are required to get your credit card verified within 90 days
of submitting your credit card details.
What happens if I fail to get my credit card verified within 90 days?
You will have to start the credit card verification process again by submitting your credit card details.
When submitting credit card details for verification, the system requires me to fill a Card Security Code. What is this code and how do I know it?
Card Security Code is a three/four digit number printed on your credit card. We ask for this code to ensure that credit card is being used by the true owner of the card.
Some cards have this code printed on the front side while others have it on the back side. American Express cards have a 4-digit code printed on the front side of the card, above the credit card number. Mastercard and Visa have a 3-digit code printed on the back of the card, usually on the signature line. The code will be the last 3 digits on the signature line.
Do I need to enter credit card number every time I decide to pay through my credit card?
No, you do not need to enter your credit card number every time. LimeExchange system will show any two digits out of the last four digits of your credit card number. You would be required to enter the other two digits.
I have got two credit cards verified from LimeExchange. Which credit card will be used for making payments?
Every time you make payment, you get an option to select the credit card that you wish to use.
ACH Account Verification
Is it necessary for every user to get a bank account verified?
No. It is only if you wish to withdraw funds from LimeExchange to your bank account using the ACH Transfer that it becomes necessary to get your bank account verified from LimeExchange.
What is the benefit of withdrawing funds through ACH Transfer?
Using ACH transfer, you can withdraw funds from LimeExchange without paying any fee. ACH is a safe and secure mode of withdrawal. You can use it as an alternative to PayPal and checks.
I want to change my bank account for withdrawal through ACH Transfer. What should I do?
If you want to change your bank account, you can delete your existing account, add a new account, and submit it for verification. Once your bank account is verified, you will be able to use it for ACH withdrawal.
How much time it takes to get my bank account verified?
LimeExchange will either confirm or reject your bank account within 15 days.
What happens if I enter a wrong verification code?
You have three attempts to enter correct verification code. After that, you will have to start the verification process from the beginning.
When submitting bank account details for verification, the system requires me to fill “Routing Number”. What is this number and how do I know it?
Routing Number is a 9-digit number that appears on your check along with the bank account number.
When submitting bank account details for verification, the system requires me to fill “Account Identifier”. What is this and how do I know it?
Account Identifier is a name that you assign to identify your bank account. For enhanced security purposes, we would be displaying this identifier on LimeExchange instead of your original bank account number. Please assign any name that you can easily relate to your bank account.

The LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard® is a fully functioning, reloadable debit card powered by Payoneer. Card with your name on it, is shipped to virtually everywhere worldwide through standard mail. You can withdraw your LimeExchange earnings directly into your card.
What is the benefit of using a LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®?
It is a faster, safer, as well as a cost effective mode of withdrawing funds from LimeExchange. This card can be used anywhere a MasterCard® is accepted – online and in stores, as well as to withdraw cash in local currency at ATMs around the world. No bank account is required in order to apply for a card and use it.

Go to the ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ tab and click the registration link. You will be directed to a registration page. There is a section ‘I already have a card’. Click there and provide your card details, username and password of your existing Payoneer account.
What happens if I lose my LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®?
If you lose your LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®, you should contact Payoneer directly to report the loss and request for a replacement card.
How much do you charge for withdrawing funds into LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®?
We do not charge any fee for withdrawing funds into LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®. However, there are some costs and fees charged by Payoneer which is to be borne by the users.
Presently, the Payoneer fee structure is as given below:
Activation fee - This is a one-time fee that is charged when card is first loaded.
Loading fee - This fee is charged whenever you load your card.
Monthly fee - Monthly fee is taken out of available balance only and does not accumulate from month to month. That is, if a card has no balance for several months, monthly fee will not be charged.

What is LimeExchange’s Affiliate Program?
LimeExchange’s Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring/inviting people to LimeExchange. You do this by placing links on your site/blog and/or importing your contacts from your LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail account and sending an invitation email. LimeExchange pays you 50% of project fee on the first project completed by your referral.

How can I get a Widget?
Login on LimeExchange and click the Exchange tab. Exchange tab will have a Link for the Affiliation page. On Affiliation page use the Get Widgets feature to access LimeExchange Text Links, Banners and Anchor Links.

How do I manage my widgets?
On the Affiliation page, click the Manage Widget to view and mange existing widgets. Under Actions, there are three links:
Edit: You can change widget name, widget message and can customize color scheme. Click on the “Save & Get Code” button to generate the code. Get Code: Click on Get Code link to get code of existing widgets. Preview: To preview the widget, click on Preview link.
How much can I earn?
We cannot predict how much you will earn from our Affiliate Program however you can use “Earnings Calculator” feature from your home page to calculate your affiliate award based on certain assumptions about number of your referrals and average project amount.
How can I view the summary reports of my referrals?
To view reports, go to the Affiliate page and click the link “Summary Report”. You can access reports as often as you like that provide information on registrations and commissions earned. You get information about source of your referrals also like mail or your blog/website.
How do I find out how many referrals are generated from each link/banner?
Sign in to LimeExchange account and from “Summary Reports” select desired link/banner and click on Submit. Statistics and account activity are updated daily and widget specific report will tell you how effectively your links perform.

What is LimeExchange Q&A service?
Q&A is a knowledge-sharing community for the LimeExchange users. It connects people who ‘want to know’ with those who ‘want to share information.’
What are the different types of questions supported by Q&A?
You can ask Free as well as Premium questions on Q&A. Premium questions are paid questions that require Credits. Credits are available through Top-up. Any free/premium question can be further classified as Private or Public.
How do I ask a question?
You should be registered with LimeExchange to ask a question. After signing in, go to Q&A home page and click on “Ask” link. Enter your question and select a suitable category. Choose the question type as Free or Premium. Premium questions are paid questions. Select the question as Private or Public. Using the dropdown list, select the number of days for which you want your question to remain open. You can select any duration from 1 to 30 days. The duration of a question cannot be extended later on. However, you can always post the same question again if you want more response to your question. Finally, if required, add video (youtube/slideshare) and images along with your question, and submit it.
How many video links and images can be added to any question/answer?
You can add one video link (youtube/slideshare) and up to three images (max. 10MB each) to any question or answer.
How the Best Answer is selected?
The author of the question will select the Best Answer.
How would I know that my answer has been selected as the Best Answer?
Whenever a best answer is selected, an alert is displayed on the answerer’s home page.
There is no answer button. Why can't I answer the question?
There will not be an answer button on questions that have been closed or in respect of which a best answer has been chosen. It may also happen that you have already answered that question.
Who is an Expert?
Anyone who earns 1000 points and 50 best answers becomes an Expert.
What privileges do Experts enjoy?
They get “Q&A Expert” stamp on their profile. They also get double points for answering questions.
Is there any word-limit while answering a question?
Yes, you cannot write an answer of more than 5000 characters.
Can I become an expert for any particular category of questions?
Yes, you can become a Category Expert if you have 15 best answers in a particular category.
What happens if any question is unclear or ambiguous?
Both 'Answerer' and 'Questioner' can take initiative in this regard. Answerer can seek any number of clarifications from the Questioner. Similarly, questioner can also provide any number of clarifications, even without being requested to do so.
Can I edit a question after it has been posted?
You cannot edit a question once you have posted it. However, you can always add clarification to your question.
Can I post unlimited questions?
Each posting takes away your ten points. So, earn points and post more questions. You can post as many questions as you wish.
At the end of every month, LimeExchange will return actual points used by you to post questions during the month.
What is Community Voting and how is it done?
Community voting means that every user can vote on questions as well as answers.

Is it possible to change vote later on?
No, you cannot change your vote.
Can I answer the same question twice?
No. After you have answered a question, the Answer link is removed.
How can I post premium questions?

Who can answer premium questions?
All registered users can answer premium questions.
What should I do once my question has been answered?
If you are satisfied with the answers that you have received, you should select one of them as the best answer.
If you are not satisfied with the answers that you have received, you can extend your question's expiration date and wait for more answers.
What is the benefit of answering premium questions?
A person, whose answer to a Premium question is selected as the best, receives the amount assigned to that Premium question (subject to 20 per cent fee that LimeExchange charges).
What will happen if a questioner fails to select the Best Answer for a premium question?
In such a case, the Best Answer will be decided by community voting. All answers with 10 or more votes would be eligible for Best Answer under community voting method.
How will you decide the Best Answer if community voting for a premium question ends in a tie?
There may be a case where community voting ends in a tie. In that situation, the first answer posted in point of time will be declared as the Best Answer.
Can I invite someone to answer a question?
Yes, you can invite someone from your connections to answer your question.
How will I know if someone posts an answer to my question?
Once an answer is posted, an alert will be displayed on the Home page of the questioner.
Can free questions be private as well?
Yes. All premium/free questions can be private as well as public. It is at the discretion of a person posting a question to make the question private or public.
What is the difference between Credits and Points?
Best answer in case of free questions get you points, whereas best answer in case of premium questions get you cash equivalent to the credits associated with that question.
Credits have monetary value whereas points do not have any monetary value. Credits earn you money whereas Points get you respect.

Is tagging a question compulsory?
Tagging a question is optional. It helps in tracking questions whenever a search is carried out by any user.

Users can search public questions on the basis of keywords (a particular term in the question). Users can also use advanced search feature to further narrow down their search results.
