| Project Description: | This is a freelance, permanent contract for work, 5 days a week for a small UK radio station.
This role requires fast editing and mixing of audio files, editing and trimming audio recordings made by our radio station contributors. There will also be some basic radio commercials to mix using voicetracks sent on mp3 and music backing tracks. Files will be uploaded to a webspace for you to download and edit to a shorter length, edit to remove mistakes or to mix with music and sound effects. We would need you to upload these completed features directly to our server for broadcast. You would also need to upload the file, with a text short description, to our website for podcasts. Excellent English skills, audio editing software and a reliable broadband connection are needed. You would also need to edit clips out of video recordings of interviews and upload them to our website. You would also be required to edit simple video clips, with some basic mixes and transitions, and add titles and audio voicetracks to create a 10 minute video news cast once a week. This would need uploading to You Tube and our website. There would be occasional production of pre-roll video adverts for our website streams.
